Noel Cabangon, leads the “Songs For Hope,” a benefit concert happening on June 5, 2025, Thursday at 8 PM at the Music Museum in Greenhills, San Juan City, Metro Manila.
Cabangon began his musical career at the young age of 10. Coming from a modest family in Rosario, La Union, he learned to play the guitar using one that he would borrow from a neighbor. Though shy and insecure, he was often entered into singing contests in their small town. Visiting guests were often treated to a song or two from him, who tried to run away from performing.
Though he tried to avoid performing in public, however, music and his love for it inevitably drew him to the stage. In 1982, beginning in little known folk houses and bars to underground watering holes, Cabangon steadily made a name for himself in and outside the local music industry and the rest is history.
Cabangon, by the way will be joined by other talented artists like Cye Soriano, Marianne Bermundo, Patricia Ismael, Miles Poblete among others.
This show by the way is for the benefit of Best Magazine Charity projects led by Richard Hinola and produced by Primelens Film Production Inc. led by Its President Wilson Tindon and Corporate Secretary MamaJosh Moradas. Luther John Lim directs the show.
