INIGO PASCUAL GIVES HIS ALL IN “FATHERLAND”

Despite his achieved celebrity via the HOLYWOOD TV Series “MONARCH” with iconic Actress SUSAN SARANDON, Pinoy newbie INIGO PASCUAL’s feet remain rooted on Philippine ground, humbled by his passion for acting.

Precisely why when offered to play the role of the PhilAm young man in FATHERLAND, he accepted the offer, even without the fine details and prints.

Iñigo plays ALEX DELA CRUZ in FATHERLAND.

ASAP, he flew in from L.A. USA to the Philippines to do the JOEL LAMANGAN masterpiece from multi-awarded screenwriter ROY IGLESIAS.

Iñigo plays the PhilAm son searching for his Pinoy Father (ALLEN DIZON) from whom Iñigo was separated at age 7.

In his journey, Inigo discovers that his missing Father has a MULTIPLE DISORDER,

Inigo also finds out his Father’s physical and political struggles, which parallel the social problems that plague its people and institutions.

Iñigo is excited to see the final print of “FATHERLAND” which special screenings he missed while he was in USA, luckily surviving the L.A. wild fires in February.

Aside from ALLEN, IÑIGO feels blessed to have worked with seasoned actors like CHERRY PIE PICACHE, ANGEL AQUINO, RICHARD YAP, MERCEDES CABRAL, JIM PEBANCO and MAX EIGENMANN.

He enjoyed shooting with reliables JERIC GONZALES, RICO BARRERA, ABED GREEN, KAZEL KINOUCHI and Showbiz Royalties ARA DAVAO and BO BAUTISTA.

INIGO’s CO-ACTORS and Direk Joel Lamangan have only good words about Iñigo’s competence and professionalism on the set.

DIREK LAMANGAN is pleased because Iñigo sank into the psyche of his character. He was open to suggestions on how he’d attack his role.

For INIGO, “FATHERLAND” is an important film. Aside from his dramatic encounters with his Father Juan dela Cruz, his journey also tackles national problems like LAND GRABBING, MUSLIM SEPARATISM and INVASION by the CHINESE POGO.

Therefore, FATHERLAND touches not only the alienation between Father and Son, but also on significant issues affecting the Families and the entire Nation– our FATHERLAND.

FATHERLAND” is produced by BENTRIA PRODUCTIONS owned by ENGR. BENJIE AUSTRIA in collaboration with HEAVEN’S BEST ENTERTAINMENT owned by HARLENE BAUTISTA.

FATHERLAND opens on Black Saturday, April 19, 2025, in cinemas nationwide.
