In a country where women continue to break boundaries, redefine success, and reshape entire industries with innovation and determination, Josephine Jeresano of Cobe Living stands as a powerful and inspiring figure—an embodiment of what it truly means to build something meaningful from the ground up. Her journey is not just one of business success, but of unwavering courage, relentless grit, and a deep, abiding sense of purpose.
As the visionary founder and hands-on owner of Cobe Living, Josephine established what would become a proudly Filipino home and lifestyle brand that has served not only countless Filipino families but also some of the most respected names in the hospitality industry since its inception in 2003.
From its humble beginnings, Cobe Living has grown into a name synonymous with elegance, quality, and dependability—offering everything from meticulously crafted linens and plush towels to stylish curtains and bespoke home accessories. Each product reflects not only superior craftsmanship but also Josephine’s commitment to creating comfort, beauty, and value for every home and establishment she touches.

But beyond the polished surfaces, soft textures, and inviting displays lies a far deeper and more compelling narrative—the story of a woman who defied the odds in a business environment still largely shaped by male leadership and traditional expectations. Josephine’s journey was never smooth or straightforward. She faced countless obstacles: limited resources, shifting market demands, gender biases, and the persistent voice of self-doubt that many entrepreneurs silently wrestle with. Yet with every setback, she responded with resolve. With every closed door, she found another path.
Driven by the dream of building not just a business, but a legacy, Josephine poured her heart into Cobe Living Store. Her story is one of resilience—of rising early, working late, learning continuously, and refusing to give up when things seemed uncertain. She became not only a trailblazer in her field but a mentor and role model to many, especially young women aspiring to start their own ventures. In every thread, in every fabric, and in every carefully designed space touched by Cobe Living, there is the unmistakable imprint of a woman who dared to dream—and turned that dream into reality, one step, one stitch, and one breakthrough at a time.

A Modest Beginning Rooted in Faith and Family
Josephine was raised in a household where values mattered more than wealth. Born to two educators, she grew up witnessing her parents’ quiet commitment to service, discipline, and community. That upbringing shaped her inner foundation: hardworking, humble, and God-fearing.
She later married an engineer. They were blessed with five boys. Josephine’s entrepreneurial spirit burned brightly. “I wanted to be present for my children, but I also dreamed of building something of my own — something that could help our family and others too,” she shares.
In 2003, with barely enough money to start a business, Josephine took a leap of faith. She saw an opportunity in her very own neighborhood: a local resident was producing bedsheets that were not only attractive and well-made, but also affordable. Trusting her instincts, she took the risk. Using a credit card as her only capital, she began to resell the linens.
She named her venture Channel of Blessing Enterprise Inc., guided by her belief that her business could become a conduit of comfort, dignity, and support to others. Little did she know that her small enterprise would later evolve into the respected brand we now know as Cobe Living.
Challenges of a Woman Entrepreneur
Josephine’s path was far from easy. As a female entrepreneur starting out in the early 2000s, she faced skepticism from peers and potential clients. Many questioned her ability to manage a business while raising five children. “I didn’t come from money, and I didn’t have a business background,” Josephine recalls. “What I had was determination, and a deep desire to succeed not just for myself, but for my family.”
She never gave up. “What kept me going was the thought that I didn’t want to just survive. I wanted to thrive — for my children, for my employees, and for the people who believed in me,” Josephine says.
Building a Brand that Lasts
Through the years, Josephine expanded her offerings to include not just bedsheets, but also comforters, pillows, towels, curtains, and kitchenware. Her products catered to both residential homes and the hospitality sector, supplying linens to hotels, resorts, and institutions across the Philippines.
When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, businesses everywhere closed down. But Channel of Blessing Enterprise Inc. kept moving. “People still needed towels, washcloths, and other essentials,” she explains. “We adjusted our marketing, embraced online platforms, and found ways to deliver safely. We didn’t stop because we knew we were still needed.”
Even amid uncertainty, Josephine’s resilience shone through — a quality she attributes to being naturally aggressive and proactive. “If I waited for things to happen, I would still be where I started. You have to chase opportunities, ask questions, and sometimes even build your own.”
Another strength she discovered was being consultative with her husband, whose engineering background brought analytical balance to her passionate approach. “He became my sounding board, my strategist. His insights gave me clarity during times of doubt,” she shares. “We made decisions together, and that made the journey lighter.”
A Lifelong Learner
Hungry to grow and refine her knowledge, Josephine immersed herself in self-education. She regularly attended seminars led by Francis Kong, a celebrated motivational speaker and entrepreneur, whose wisdom resonated deeply with her. Not only listened but internalized his teachings, bringing new energy to her vision and sharpening her leadership style.
She also became a member of BNI (Business Network International), a move that proved invaluable. Through BNI, Josephine was able to build connections with like-minded entrepreneurs, access new markets, and gain referrals that significantly expanded her customer base. “BNI taught me that business is about building relationships — not just transactions,” she says. BNI opened doors of opportunities to her and connected her to her target market. The business referral organization immersed her in trainings that helped her grow the business. As of this writing, she holds the position of President of BNI Zeal Chapter in the Dasmariñas Region.
Legacy of a Life Well-Woven
Today, Cobe Living stands tall not just as a business, but as a lasting testament to the values it was built upon — comfort, class, and an uncompromising commitment to quality. Every product bearing the Cobe name reflects decades of hard work, thoughtful design, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. But more than the linens, curtains, or home essentials that grace countless Filipino households and hospitality venues, it is the story behind the brand that truly sets it apart.
At the heart of this success is Josephine Jeresano, whose journey continues to inspire not just consumers, but an entire generation of aspiring entrepreneurs. What elevates Cobe Living Store is not only the high standard of its offerings but the essence of Josephine’s character woven into every detail — her unshakable faith in God, her deep compassion for others, and her fearless entrepreneurial spirit that has guided the company through changing trends, economic shifts, and competitive landscapes.

Her story is a powerful reminder that even the simplest thread, when guided by heart, grit, and faith, can be woven into something truly beautiful.
