QUEZON CITY, Philippines — To help residents cope with rising temperatures this summer, the local government has officially opened a new outdoor misting system at Quezon Memorial Circle (QMC), offering a refreshing way for visitors to cool down while enjoying outdoor activities. The initiative is part of the city’s continuing efforts to promote public comfort and well-being, especially during periods of extreme heat. The misting system is designed to help lower ambient temperature in designated areas and provide immediate relief from humid conditions. Residents and visitors who frequent QMC for jogging, walking, or leisure activities are encouraged to take advantage of the new facility. The misting area serves as a cooling zone where individuals can pause, rest, and refresh while staying active outdoors. The Quezon City Government emphasized that the project reflects its commitment to creating safer, more livable public spaces amid changing climate conditions. As temperatures continue to rise, QCitizens are reminded to stay hydrated, take necessary precautions, and make use of available cooling facilities while enjoying outdoor recreation.
