The CALABARZON Alliance of Independent Tour Operators Inc. (CAITO) continues to drive the growth of regional tourism by fostering collaboration, empowerment, and innovation among tour operators, travel agencies, and industry stakeholders across CALABARZON and the Philippines.
Since its founding, CAITO has become a dynamic platform uniting tourism professionals — providing members with access to business networking, capacity-building programs, and partnership opportunities with both local and international stakeholders. Guided by its commitment to sustainable and inclusive tourism, CAITO stands as a strongregional partner of the Department of Tourism Region 4A in promoting responsible travel and entrepreneurial growth.
CTBEX 2025: A Celebration of Collaboration and Growth
As CAITO marks another successful year, it proudly celebrates the 3rd year of the CALABARZON Tourism Business Exchange (CTBEX) — an annual business-to-business marketplace that has evolved into a powerful ecosystem ofcollaboration and opportunity.
The recently concluded CTBEX 2025 highlighted the continued partnership among local sellers, buyers, and tourism advocates who share the common goal of strengthening the region’s tourism economy.
CAITO extends heartfelt appreciation to its President, Ms. Lorie Tepora, for her leadership in steering CTBEX and CAITO toward sustained impact, as well as to the officers, members, and partner organizations for their dedication.
Special thanks were extended to Ms. Elvie Quiazon (Bellevue Hotels & Resorts), Dr. Dimapuno Datu-Ramos (NCMF-NCR), Ms. Teresita Leabres (Cavite Premiere Tourism Board Inc.), and DOT Region IV-A Regional Director Ms. Marites Castro, whose presence and insights enriched the event. Their shared messages emphasized inclusivity, digital transformation, and sustainability — values that mirror CAITO’s core advocacy.

3rd General Membership Meeting: Exploring “Generative AI” in Tourism
Following the success of CTBEX 2025, CAITO held its 3rd General Membership Meeting (GMM) on October 6, 2025 at the Summit Ridge Hotel, Tagaytay, with the theme “Generative AI.”
The session focused on how artificial intelligence is reshaping the tourism industry — from marketing and customer engagement to operational efficiency. Members and guests gained valuable insights on leveraging technology to adapt to the changing landscape of travel.
4th GMM and Thanksgiving Party —“Winter Wonderland”
To cap off the year, CAITO warmly invites tourism stakeholders, partners, and aspiring members to join its 4th General Membership Meeting & Thanksgiving Party on December 2, 2025, at Tagaytay Country Hotel.
