TCL, the leading consumer electronics brand and the world’s Top 2 TV brand, has partnered with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA). It donated its newest AAT Inverter+ refrigerators and training supplies. The beneficiaries are TESDA Technology Institution (TTI) sites in the National Capital Region (NCR).
“With this collaboration, we hope that we can inspire greatness among the TESDA training facilities and bring forth more inspiration for everyone. Looking forward to more partnerships like this in the future,” said TCL Product Manager for Washing Machine and Refrigerator Eric Li. TCL and TESDA sealed the partnership during a ceremonial signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at TCL PH Headquarters. Officials and representatives from both organizations attended.
Supporting Food Processing Training
The partnership coincides with Nutrition Month this July. It aims to support TESDA’s training programs in food processing and domestic work. The newest TCL AAT Inverter+ refrigerators reflect TCL’s dedication to delivering cutting-edge home technology at a reasonable price. In addition, they help consumers live healthier, more environmentally friendly, and more practical lives.
“TESDA is very fortunate to accidentally stumble upon TCL and welcome this promising partnership, which came at the most opportune time. TCL’s donation of equipment and tools will be very useful as our TESDA Training Institutions deliver quality TVET trainings through our community-based approach in NCR. Rest assured that we will put it to good use. It will greatly benefit our intended beneficiaries. This is just a start of our lasting and exciting partnership. We look forward to more collaboration and engagement with TCL in the days to come,” said TESDA Manila District Director Niña Connie G. Dodd.
Seven Institutions Receive Donations
Seven TESDA Technology Institutions in NCR received the donation. They are TESDA Navotas Training Institute (TNTI) and TESDA Manila Training and Assessment Center (TMTAC). In addition, they include TESDA PAMAMARISAN Training and Assessment Center (TPTAC) and TESDA Pasay-Makati District Training and Assessment Center (PMDTAC). Likewise, Quezon City Lingkod Bayan Skills Development Center (QCLBSDC), MUNTIPARLAS-TAPAT District Training and Assessment Center (MDTAC), and TESDA-NCR Regional Training Center (TESDA-NCR RTC) received donations.
“We at TCL are always happy to give assistance to our fellow Filipinos. We always look for ways to help in any way we can. Through this CSR project collaboration with TESDA, we hope that we can bring new hope to more people to uplift their livelihood. If not for the support of the people, we won’t be achieving our current standing among the subsidiaries in this region,” says Joseph Cernitchez, Brand Manager, TCL Philippines.
TCL also looks forward to more collaboration with training centers in the coming days. It aims not only to support their education but also to give back to the community. Moreover, it wants to thank the Filipinos who have helped solidify the company’s current status as a global leader among electronics brands.
