March 4, 2026 – Japanese dance and vocal group BALLISTIK BOYZ from EXILE TRIBE officially announce the pre-release of their new single “Perfect.” It arrives on March 6, ahead of their upcoming EP “BEAT,” scheduled for release in April.
The group built on the success of their BALLISTIK BOYZ LIVE TOUR 2025 “IMPACT,” which ran from June to November 2025. Now they have officially entered the second chapter of their journey. 2026 marks the beginning of their full-scale activities. “Perfect” sets the tone for a year of bold musical exploration and more grounded, relatable themes.
Member MASAHIRO SUNADA (MASA) reflected on the new chapter. He said, “‘Perfect’ is the perfect spring love song to match this season. We hope you’ll wrap yourself in its comfortable sound and the warm, heart-touching world of its lyrics. We also hope you’ll enjoy that happy atmosphere.”
About “Perfect”
“Perfect” is a love song centered on the theme of “everyday romance.” It delicately portrays natural and authentic emotions that exist as an extension of daily life. The track evokes the gentle feeling of spring. Its warm and relatable depiction of love leaves a lingering aftertaste. It softly resonates with listeners’ memories.
MASA explained the inspiration for the track. “Since ‘Perfect’ has a refreshing and uplifting sound, it’s the kind of song to listen to on your way to school or during your commute. The lyrics are very positive, too. The message is that even the parts of ourselves we might not think are perfect can become something positive. It depends on how we look at them. I believe this track can lift your mood no matter the situation!”
The song is built around an emotional rock sound with a comfortable, mid-tempo groove. BBY NABE wrote the lyrics. They vividly paint youthful and vibrant scenes that are characteristic of BALLISTIK BOYZ. Its quiet warmth makes it a perfect companion for the spring season. It is a track that can touch anyone’s heart.
“Perfect” follows the group’s recent single “Winter Glow.” That track is heartwarming and slightly bittersweet. It tenderly captures the cold season’s romance. While “Winter Glow” looked back with a mature, nostalgic perspective, “Perfect” pivots toward the brightness of spring. In this way, it showcases BALLISTIK BOYZ’s versatility and expanding musical palette.
Looking ahead to BEAT
The group prepares for the April launch of “BEAT.” At the same time, they remain focused on the fans who have championed their growth. MASA shared, “The other songs on our upcoming EP, ‘BEAT,’ have completely different styles. They show the versatile nature of BALLISTIK BOYZ. Last year, our first Asia tour gave us new global goals. We are working hard to create more opportunities to meet you all in person. We really look forward to the day we can see you again!”
The pre-release single “Perfect” will be available on all major streaming platforms starting March 6.
