MANILA, Philippines – The world-renowned food exhibition WOFEX recently made its grand return to Manila, providing an unparalleled platform for culinary exploration and trade. From August 6 to 9, 2025, food enthusiasts and industry professionals are invited to the World Trade Center and SMX Convention Center, where Thailand will prominently showcase its world-famous Thai rice.
Under the theme “THINK RICE, THINK THAILAND: We serve the Best Quality Rice to the World,” Thailand is poised to highlight the exceptional quality and distinctive flavor profiles that have made its rice a global staple. Attendees are encouraged to visit Booth No. 1075, ‘THINK RICE, THINK THAILAND,’ located in Hall 4 of the SMX Convention Center, Manila, to delve into the diverse wonders of Thai rice.
Premium Thai Rice Varieties on Display
The exhibit features an array of premium Thai rice varieties, including the versatile Thai white rice, the aromatic Thai fragrant rice, and the internationally celebrated Thai Hom Mali rice. Known for its soft-textured long grains, delicate floral aroma, and outstanding culinary performance, Thai Hom Mali rice exemplifies the high standards of Thai agricultural excellence. The exhibit offers a unique opportunity to explore different varieties and benefit from special pricing presented directly by Thai rice exporters and Philippine importers.
Adding an interactive dimension to the event, accredited Thai SELECT restaurants based in Manila will host captivating cooking demonstrations. These restaurants, officially recognized by the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) under the Ministry of Commerce of Thailand, will present skilled chefs revealing the culinary secrets behind authentic Thai dishes, with Thai rice as the central ingredient. The demonstrations promise to transform simple ingredients into remarkable culinary masterpieces.
