QUEZON CITY — The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) successfully brought essential government services closer to the public during its Open House Day on October 8, 2026, at the PSA Headquarters in Quezon City, as part of the celebration of the 37th National Statistics Month (NSM).
The activity provided the public with convenient access to civil registration services, National ID assistance, career opportunities, and free legal advice, demonstrating the PSA’s commitment to accessible, efficient, and people-centered public service.
Under Civil Registration, the PSA served 207 clients, facilitated 201 transactions, distributed 100 free birth certificates, and assisted eight clients through its Public Assistance and Complaints Desk (PACD).
For National ID services, 37 individuals were registered, 172 paper-format National IDs were issued, 39 updating requests were facilitated, 238 Transaction Reference Numbers (TRNs) were retrieved, and 30 PACD clients received assistance.

The event also supported nine job seekers through PSA Careers and provided free legal assistance to 15 clients, with 109 petitions for correction of clerical errors filed.
The strong public participation underscored the importance of bringing government services directly to the people, helping them access vital documents, resolve civil registration concerns, and obtain information and assistance through a single public service initiative.
Through the Open House Day, the PSA reaffirmed its commitment to responsive governance and improved service delivery while promoting the significance of official statistics in nation-building.
The PSA thanked everyone who participated in the activity, which formed part of the 37th NSM celebration, carrying forward its mission to make public service more accessible, inclusive, and beneficial to every Filipino.
