Bell-Kenz Pharma has forged a landmark partnership with the Quezon City Government. The deal runs through the Quezon City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (QCDRRMO). As a result, Quezon City is the first local government unit (LGU) in Metro Manila to join the company’s flagship Sagip CPR campaign. The move reinforces Bell-Kenz Pharma’s commitment to making life-saving skills accessible to every Filipino.
The partnership is another milestone in the company’s mission to build healthier, safer and more resilient communities. It pursues this mission by promoting preventive healthcare education and emergency preparedness.

Hands-Only CPR and AED training
The collaboration kicked off with a large-scale Hands-Only CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Training under Bell-Kenz Pharma’s SAGIP CPR initiative. QCDRRMO co-hosted the training. Participants learned essential skills to respond confidently during cardiac emergencies. In turn, they can greatly improve a victim’s chances of survival before professional responders arrive.
This year, Bell-Kenz Pharma celebrates 20 years of transforming healthcare through advocacy and service. Beyond providing access to healthcare, it now champions programs that teach communities practical, life-saving Hands-Only CPR. Through Sagip CPR, the company is helping build a culture of preparedness. In that culture, every trained person has the potential to save a life.

What the partners say
“Our partnership with the Quezon City Government reflects the city’s proactive leadership in advancing disaster preparedness and public health,” said Patrick Larraga, Corporate Branding and Public Affairs Head of Bell-Kenz Pharma. “We are honored to welcome Quezon City as our first LGU partner in Metro Manila under the Sagip CPR campaign. Together, we are equipping more Filipinos with the skills and confidence to act during emergencies and ultimately save more lives.”
During the program, Ms. Bianca D. Perez, Head of QCDRRMO, also spoke. She stressed that the partnership is a significant step toward stronger community resilience and emergency preparedness.

Strengthening community resilience
The city is adding CPR and AED training to its disaster risk reduction initiatives. In doing so, it advances its vision of a safer, healthier and better-prepared community for every Quezon City resident.

Bell-Kenz Pharma also works with local governments, institutions and communities nationwide. Through these partnerships, it remains committed to creating lasting social impact. Ultimately, the goal is to bring life-saving knowledge to more Filipinos and prepare every community for cardiac emergencies.
